I remembered looking at wikis and different web2.0 pages during our technology class, I honestly looked at the wikis and then threw it in the back of my mind. After creating one in class, I find myself using it to add resources for the future. I also like the to try the Sqworl site to organize my bookmarks and have the access to them anywhere. I haven't been able to look throughly at it but it really interest me.
The more I use the wiki I can see where I could use it personally and professionally. I can see how it can be a resource for me to communicate with parents and to provide them with information and resources for their children. I don't think that it is the most attractive technology, but then sometimes I find myself caught up on the aesthetics of something than the usefulness of it.
There was a plethora of web 2.0 pages to look at. I could have perused all of them. There seems to be so many options for the same process with different options. I felt overwhelmed and intrigued all at the same time. How does one choose on which one to use, for example Wordle or Tagxedo? Where to find the time to explore them all? I can see how it all be used in teaching Social Studies and also applying it to other parts of the curriculum. Technology is amazing. I wish I would have had access to all this as student in middle school or high school, but the Apple IIe computers were the new technology when I started middle school. I am excited to use all of this information in my future!

That's exactly what I use my wiki for, keeping references or taking conference notes. Many of you asked if I'd keep this course open for you for the resources, but really you should be reorganizing the resources you want and putting them on your wikis :)
